  16. CATALOG DESCRIPTION

  18. A WhizNotes Jr. program. Allows you to manage your free-format
  19. information easily and effectively. Using WhizFolder, you can record
  20. your notes and ideas instantly into separate topics without worrying
  21. about file names and directories. Use long descriptive names for your
  22. notes, easily retrieve and view them, search through them for
  23. information and insert hypertext jumps. Shareware <ASP>.

  28. WhizFolder is a junior version of another shareware program:
  29. "WhizNotes". WhizFolder only contains some basic and unique features
  30. of WhizNotes. The idea is to make the program-size smaller so that
  31. more users are encouraged to try it out and can benefit from the
  32. program.

  34. If you like WhizFolder then you may want to move on to WhizNotes as
  35. soon as possible. Please look at the online help topic "Get WhizNotes
  36. and enjoy more powerful features" to see how you can obtain this
  37. wonderful program.

  40. HARDWARE/SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS :

  42. WhizFolder runs on IBM compatibles and requires the use of Microsoft
  43. Windows 3.1 or later.
  44.

  46. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
  47.  
  48. 1. Run the Setup program provided with WhizFolder: From File menu in
  49.    the Windows Program Manager, choose Run and enter the full path
  50.    name of the Setup program in this directory. Click OK.
  51.  
  52. 3. Enter your name and other information as desired then push "Proceed
  53.    with Installation".
  54.  
  55. 4. Follow the prompts till the "Installation Complete" message appears.
  56.  
  57. Setup will add a WhizFolder program icon in the program manager under
  58. group WhizNotes. By default, WhizFolder will be installed in the
  59. directory C:\WZFOLDER, but Setup allows you to change it.

  62. USE ONLINE HELP FOR GETTING STARTED WITH WHIZFOLDER
  63.  
  64. Once you have installed WhizFolder, run it by double-clicking on the
  65. program icon which is added to the Program Mangager.  If you are
  66. using WhizFolder for the first time, you are advised to make use of
  67. the Online Help. Please look at WhizFolder Help by selecting menu
  68. item Help-Contents. Then look at "Introduction" and other interesting
  69. topics.

  71. Start using WhizFolder and explore the Online Help as you go.

  74. PLEASE REGISTER TO SUPPORT THE AUTHOR

  76. WhizFolder and its senior program WhizNotes are shareware programs.
  77. That means you are expected to pay a registration fee to the author
  78. in order to continue using this software beyond the initial trial
  79. period of thirty days. Remember, the author is not compensated for
  80. his efforts unless you purchase the registered version of WhizNotes
  81. (WhizFolder's senior program). With your support, it is possible for
  82. the author to continue providing enhancements for WhizNotes.
